With school out for the Summer, and, in keeping with my academic pursuits toward my BA/History, I'm resuming my Saturday afternoon volunteer duties with the Clayton Library Center for Genealogical Research here in Houston.
Clayton is regarded as one of the premier genealogical research facilities in the nation after the Allen County Public Library and the LDS library in Salt Lake, Utah. With Clayton I will be assisting with shelving (like last year,) and patron assistance. My Saturday mornings will be focused on the Colvin Study and 2-3 afternoon hours will be donated to Clayton. Adiitional info about Clayton is available here: http://www.hpl.lib.tx.us/clayton/
In addition, with no textbooks to labor over nor tests to study for, I'm free to puruse the Colvin Study for at least the next 12-14 weeks. Keep tuned to this blog as many new developments will be posted here.
